SUMMARY

I have thirty plus years of experience in Electrical/Electronic Maintenance in power generation, steel mill and machine shop surroundings. I have maintained a 500 MW and 1800 MW electrical generators as well as a five strand hot metal continues caster which was used to control a mold level to +/- 4 cm, with electro-magnetic stirring to insure quality and density and computer calculated strand length torch cutting. I have also done control panel building, interfacing and programming of industrial equipment.

I do all forms of building and machine maintenance. Our newer machines contain surface mounted components on PC boards that are proprietary in nature. We have over 4 miles of conveyor and a sorter that uses barcode to handle the thousands of pieces of inventory every shift. I have created an Excel DB for parts inventory and management.

Energy Services Tech / Electrical Technician

Utilized Digital Control System (DCS) to trouble shoot Power Plant Equipment Communications logic troubles and other control problems in 500 MW and 1900 MW Power Stations. Trained and used IR Cameras on 13.8 kilovolt 4160V, 480V Electrical Breaker Motor Control Centers. Much of the system is PLC based for coal and ash level control. Maintained Generators for reliable operations and did all plant electrical maintenance as needed.
