My duties included providing for the installation and technical training for the Civil CAD 3D
2009/ 2010 software, providing administrative support, providing telephone support, translating
and providing general assistance in the production of work products for the company.
06/08-08/08 Andrew Lonnie Sikes, Inc.
As a Microstation trainee, I worked directly for Andrew Lonnie Sikes II. We worked on
drainage plans for various builders and plan and profile drawings for the Nisseki chemical plant
with the purpose of rerouting railroad tracks.
05/07-03/08 Mustang Engineering-Monroe, Louisiana
Mid-Continent Express pipeline project
Using the Deedplotter program, I would sketch properties for the proposed pipeline easement.
These would be saved as DXF files to be placed n the master external reference drawing. After
this process, the properties would then be sketched individually, showing the acreage on the
proposed easement, the temporary workspace and additional workspace. This work was done
using Civil CAD 3D.
12/06-03/07 Universal Ensco-West Monroe, Louisiana
My duties included downloading data collection, processing the points using Trimble Geomatic
Office; importing to Land Development Desktop 2006 then e-mailing to Houston headquarters.
10/05-11/06 Tri-tech Surveying, Inc.-Houston, Texas
Through a staffing agency, I was hired temporarily to catch up on files in the builder department.
My duties were to draw improvements from field notes as the construction phase would progress
for new subdivisions. Builders were such companies as Royce Homes, Perry Homes and D.R.
Horton. With Tri-tech, AutoCAD 2004 was used.
4/05-10/05 National Surveying Specialties, Inc.-Houston, Texas
Hired as a third party contractor, I worked from home. I received via e-mail field notes and
ASCII files. Title commitments were delivered to me on disk as PDF files. This work consisted
of ALTA survey for Conoco-Phillips gas stations throughout the state of California. These were
drawn using AutoCAD Land Development Desktop 3.
12/04-03/05 Clark-Romero(formerly Clark-Geogram)-Houston, Texas
As a survey technician, my duties included drawing boundary and topographic surveys using
AutoCAD 2002 and Land Development Desktop 3 using field notes for improvements or
updates. Projects were all commercial such as apartment complexes, shopping malls, restaurants
and medical/research facilities.
02/01-03/02-Freese and Nichols-Pearland, Texas
Using AutoCAD 2002, we worked on city jobs for the Department of Transportation. Such
projects included the expansion of Dixie Farm Road, the extension of Pearland Parkway and
other similar projects. My duties included reporting to the project manager for instructions, then
being responsible for providing AutoCAD drafting support services to the engineering team.
