Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) of plates, welded joints, casting & forging by using solvent removable method.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) of welded joints and parent metal of plates and pipelines by using magnetic YOKE (AC & DC) with Dry and Wet particle method.

Having sufficient Knowledge in Ultrasonic Testing of Welds, Casting and Forging.

Ultrasonic inspection of welded pipe, plate and various kinds of jobs.

Lamination checking for plates.

Weld scan for pipe joints.

Familiar with various Ultrasonic Equipment like Einstein-II DGS.

Handledsurface Inspection by MPI methods of both wet & dry mediums.

knowledge of magnetic particle inspection using Yoke Technique with AC and DC.

Having experiences in inspections of welded section for surface defects using fluorescent and Non-fluorescent penetrate Methods.

Job ROLES &Responsibilities AS A QC INSPECTOR:

Prepare project quality plan, Inspection Test Plan, method of statements & Procedures as per the Job specifications & Client Requirements.

Preparing the cutting plans for the materials, inspection of ceiling girders, high beams, MPI for the structural welding, preparing the documentation..

Fit-up and weld visual inspection of piping and structural steel works.

Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of Quality Management

System at the project sites.

Vendor Inspection, Material inspection & verification according to standards, and Material traceability.

Welding inspection for Structures & Pressure vessels, Dimensional verification, material and Consumable traceability.

Monitor the visual inspection, NDT requirements and NCR follow ups.

Coordinating with NDT contractors for Radiographic and Penetrant testing.

Reviewing Radiographic films, Ultrasonic Test reports, MPI, PT reports, weld logsheets and to ensure the compliance of NDT requirements.

Document review, final line check, issue punch list for piping packages and witness the hydrotesting.

Stage wise inspection and review QC documents for vendor items such as fabricated structures, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, Skid packages.

Perform final/pre shipment inspection for vendor items to ensure compliance to approved drawings and construction standards.

Witness the mechanical testing and review the acceptance as per codes for materials/PQR.

Compile the complete QC documents and submit the Survey report to Client.

Documentation :Preperation & Submission of Final Dossier.

Updation of Calibration certificates.

Updation of Welder certificates.
