Research Assistant (Office of Grants and Sponsored Research)- St. John’s University 2016-18 (21 months) Conducted primary research and coordinated market research projects. Learned and operated statistical software to perform statistical analysis. The innovative part of my research was the use of healthcare related Comic books in US healthcare curriculum.

Research Title: “Use of Comic Books in pharmacy curriculum to develop feeling of sympathy and empathy towards patients and caregivers.”

• The main objective of the research was to explore if healthcare related comics can be used as a medium to develop feelings (sympathy and empathy) in pharmacy students towards patients and caregivers.

• The longitudinal prospective study was conducted for 16 weeks when 200 students were informed to read 2 award winning comic books and at the end of semester fill up an IRB approved survey designed for this research.

• The results of my research provide an evidence for organizations like AACP and ACPE to implement comic books as an innovation in curriculum towards developing sympathy & empathy feelings in students. Data Analysis: Used SPSS software (Version 23) in accordance with statistical reliability and variance estimation. Market Manager- Blithia, Mumbai, India 2015-16 (11 months)

• Spearheaded whole marketing and branding of the company focused with customer centered value proposition.

• Conducted market research through digital, telephonic and personal interviews to strategize B2B promotions.
