Skills & Qualifications
I was previously employed by Canada Revenue Agency but felt my position did not allow me to advance or to demonstrate my maximum potential. My position was a Data Capture Clerk, Examiner & Document Processing Clerk & an Assessing Processing Clerk. These positions entailed me to train and review new employees work and provide feedback on a daily basis and when needed I would sit down with the individual and go over the training process with them to ensure accuracy. These positions enabled me to multi-task very effectively and efficiently while maintain my own production each day. I would delegate and prioritize the workload to the new employees, keeping my Team Leader up to date on the accuracy of their work performed. I consider myself to be respectful, calm and a hard working employee with the ability to adapt very quickly to new workloads.
I would also scan documents into the mainframe system using a Fujitsu scanner. This allowed us to keep files online for 7 years instead of hard copies which would take up a lot of space. I would index the documents according to their assigned control number and place a barcode for easy access in the future. The documents were then sent to a warehouse for storage. My skills include:
● Proficient in a broad range of computer applications
● Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
● Professionalism derived from a strong customer service background
● Positive attitude reflected in personal determination, discipline and dedication
● Honest, reliable and punctual
● Team player who works well with others and able to work well under pressure
● Alpha/numeric keystrokes are in excess of 70 wpm while my numeric is around 14,000/hr with a great accuracy rate
