Maintenance
I perform maintenance in a CNC machining facility. My responsibilities include electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair. I make machine adjustments and programming changes. Also, I purchase parts, maintain maintenance logs and generate preventative maintenance work orders.

Service Technician
Employed as a service technician for a machine manufacturer. Birch Brothers manufacturers winding equipment and roll compressing and wrapping machinery as well as specialized equipment. My duties include installation and start up of Birch equipment. I perform hydraulic design and installation to accompany the machinery. I perform service of the machinery and programming modifications as needed. When I am in the shop, I perform various tasks such as machining parts, electrical installation

The equipment, that I was primarily responsible for, included a terminal inserter, an ATS winder, a Marsilli soldering station, a Battenfeld injection-molding machine, and a Menziken inspection station.

Design and Fabricating Technician/ Technical Support Specialist
Design and Fabricating Technician - I worked with the hydraulic sales engineer to help design and fabricate hydraulic and pneumatic projects. I was responsible for the design and installation of electrical controls that accommodated units quoted. I provided quotes for all electrical controls. I produced schematics on computer software to be furnished with systems sold. I kept records for all units built. I was responsible for the repair of all actuators, valves, components, and systems that the Charlotte location handled.
Technical Support Specialist - I worked with hydraulic engineer to assist in the opening of new division. I provided assistance in the development of electrical and hydraulic mechanical systems. I supplied quotes for the building of hydraulic power systems, as well as, designed and built electrical control panels. I created hydraulic and electrical schematics with the use of CADD programs. I was responsible for all technical information accommodating all systems sold.

Duties included assigning and performing work orders in an industrial maintenance department. I maintained container assembly lines, as well as, installed a new automated production line. I was responsible for the electrical and mechanical improvement of existing machinery. I worked with the purchasing manager to maintain parts department and receive maintenance parts as required.
