May-2013 – Oct -2018. GRID ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS - Logistic Business Analyst. Responsible for the Logistics operations of the company.

Handle/Control the Logistic Operations of the company, including all Imports and Exports, its processes and documentation.

Set the distribution channels and be the responsible for the inventory control process. Generate reports and inform POs Status.

Drive and Improve the Procurement & Supply process, re-engineering the procedures, evaluating and compromising vendors, getting better Exwork-Dates, accomplish the Estimate Time of Delivery (ETD) for each PO with our logistics team & partners.

To analyze business performance through of analysis of data applying, Business Intelligence, then model scenarios, make recommendations. Create : Reports, Excel Sheets, Tables, develop databases to conform Information System (App).

To study variables, Stablish KPIs and Analyze it to find keys to optimize the company performance, maximize company profit, minimize costs. Develop: System to improve the process, SOP(s)to keep the focus in Quality for complete customer satisfaction.

Responsible for Chain Supply Management: Monitor, Track & Trace all the POs, Air or Ocean, Inland or Overseas. Be aware of All Process: Receiving, warehousing, storage-disposal, preparation, Booking, shipping, and distribution. To Oversee all Orders Received in our WH /3PL WH or overseas, To Submit instructions, and Enforce the procedures to handle the cargo according to PO . Verify–match each order SO Vs PO, be aware of discrepancies, damages, nonconformities, shortages, or any other finding.

Provide information for ISF form and the HTS code. Submit Instructions to Overseas vendors, 3PL (Carriers,NVOCC, Airlines, etc).

Deal with F- Forwards, carriers, Consolidators, NVOCC, 3PL etc., to get the best value for the shipping. Issue Insurance policies.

Check,verify, & approve, Quotes, and Invoices from : Freight Forwards, Carriers, 3PL, Airlines, Shipping companies, etc.

Schedule Bookings, and Coordinate with the Logistic suppliers, (carriers, NVOCC, Airlines) the shipping IN or OUT of the Orders.

To Generate/Handle/Check/Verify/Approve all Paperwork like: SED/AES, BL’s, AWBL, HAWBL, Credit Letter, POA, PL, Invoices, proforms, declarations, Origin Certifications, Customs Forms etc. Program Pickups and deliveries LCL, FCL, LTL-FTL.

To Support Customers and Vendors; solving its request, making recommendations considering the devices, shipping method, the Origin-Destination, its location USA, LATAM, EUROPE, ASIA, the country and trade regulations, customs process, etc.

Support the company on : Projects, Sales, Purchasing, Incoterms, Data analysis. Time-line project execution. Budget, also Support it on; Pricing, Incoterms, Schedules, Shipping, Costs, volume, packing, permits, etc. Record in our Customized ERP.

Be the liaison with others company’s departments like: Purchasing, Accounting, Customer service, Engineering, commercial. Feb-2007 – Oct-2012 . PANALPINA - Lead Imports Agent Responsible for Gateway operations (imports).

Lead the imports crew, oversee WH personnel. Ensure high customer satisfaction according to GDP & company policies.

Improve the Process. Be the Link between departments like : Receiving, Operations, Warehouse, Exports, and its agents.

Make reports, w/extensive details, to inform to the customer the status, dims, Weight, shortages, or damages, etc.

Make a ULD(s) daily Log, and keep its inventory . Use of multiple computer applications IPAWS, E-File, SPC, Office, IT-Tools.

Planning Imports tasks. To Supervise, coordinate personnel, assign functions to warehouse Gateway imports personnel, and Coordinate the imports receiving traffic and crew, Assure the accomplishment of company guidelines and procedures.

Verify that all regulations of the agencies like DOT, TSA, DGR, USA-CBP be accomplished in full, and to implement / to apply company KPI’s, policies like GPD (Good Practice Distribution), and WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Solve different issues, from field operations, to customer requests (splits, counts, verifications,, etc), and respond emails .

Generate Acknowledge for the cargo received and make reports according to SOPs. Record All carrier Information like, IDs, POD, Receipts, etc. Be aware and collect all paperwork received by load like : Pre-alerts, Manifests, AWBL, HAWBL, MSDS, PL, CBP-Forms, inform non Conformities, Missing Pcs, Non declared cargo, DGR and cargo damage.

Be sure of handle properly cargo as per characteristics : Regular, Bonded, High Value, Temperature- Controlled, DGR.

Accomplish tasks with accuracy according to the competences of the air-freight regulations (IATA), assure the good cargo handling and practices to avoid damages and ensure its proper storage according to Regular/Haz-Mat/Perishable or High-Value cargo, per customer declaration and get cargo on time to meet the scheduled Export cutoff’s.
