Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is de ned as the process to convert the scanning image of papers to new documents can be easily used with computers for manipulations.

This process can deal with handwritten or printed characters. Also, it is useful for commer- cial and education to simplify getting information like credit card in the Banks or shops.

The system takes a scanned image or camera of an Arabic text as an input and generates an editable text out of it.

After identifying the Arabic text from graphics image it converts this text to voice that would help blind peoples to recognize what they want to read. Research Project October 2014 - December 2016

Drug sensitivity for Cancer Disease supervised by: Dr.Mohamed Ismail and Dr. Nagia Ghanem

The Project is focused on the Breast cancer as it is one of the major causes of death among women. It approaches to identify the presence of breast cancer mass and calci cation in mammograms and extracted clinically features and after this experiments it uses ANN soft computing method for detect the cancer and easily di erentiate the benign and malignant.

It reduces the false positive rate by reducing the unnecessary biopsy and health care cost as well. Di erent classi ers were used in biomedical imaging application like breast cancer Malignant Benign detection from mammograms.

An arti cial neural network of 3 layers is proposed for mass classi cation. This will help doctor to take or analyze in which stage of cancer the patient have and according to which patient can take necessary and appropriate treatment steps. This proposed method is low cost as it can be implemented in general computer . 1 of 3

It is based on visual detection method of the processed mammogram images.

In future aspect a real-time system can be implemented using suitable data acquisition software and hardware interface with digital mammography systems. IOS Projects (nWeave Company).
