Responsible in overseeing the plant boiler chemistry regime, operation of water treatment plant and waste water treatment plant.
Responsible for maintaining proper chemistry in the HRSGs, feed water, steam cycle, cooling water systems.
Propose, plan, organize plant laboratory. Responsible for Accurate record keeping, ensuring documentation and data for reports is made in timely fashion. Maintain a safe and professional laboratory.
Hands on experience of operation, supervising and trouble shooting of water treatment plant of various capacities including pre-treatment plant, water softener, demineralization, polishing etc.
Responsible for monitoring, chemical treatment, preservation and restorations during steady state operation condition and during transients like startup, shutdown or during long shut downs.

Provide reports on analysis results relating to water treatment plant, condensate, boiler water, steam quality systems
Establish and provide trends of water treatment plant, condensate, boiler water, steam quality system analysis results. This to monitor any deviations and when, also to ensure control of water and steam quality stays within parameters.
Communication with the operations team advising on water/steam analysis results and providing advice on process adjustments to maintain water and steam quality within parameters.
Monitor on line instrumentation for water treatment plant, condensate, boiler water, steam and waste water systems that is providing continues monitoring of water and steam condition parameters.
Carry out the purchasing requirements for laboratory chemicals and consumables to ensure adequate stock is available.
Carry out laboratory stock checks ensuring rotation of stock chemicals to managing in date stock and minimise wastage.
Provide support to the operations team as required regarding chemical controls and water and steam quality.
