Human Resources

Dear: Human Resources

I would appreciate an opportunity to interview for one of the available positions as NP. I understand the hesitation to interview a new graduate. However, I have worked has a registered nurse for five years and learned a great deal from my mentors. In my current role as a consulting nurse, I worked with underserved community with severe mental/ physical limitations. Therefore, I understand the dedication it takes, to care and provide quality patient care. I may not have previous experience as a nurse practitioner however, I am quick learner and extremity reliable. I am looking for a long- term placement. I have excellent people skills.

Simmons College, has prepared me for my future role as an NP, by providing academically rigorous curriculum that focuses on cutting-edge research and theory. Simmons coursework focused on promoting health and well-being, as well as assessing, preventing, and managing chronic illness and disease. I Completed 725 clinical hours in varied setting including: Adult Primary Care, Pediatric Primary Care, Women Health OB/GYN, and Urgent Care.

Southern New Hampshire University, has prepared me for my role in today's complex healthcare environment that requires critical competencies, including evidence-based care, health promotion, disease prevention and the use of technology to enhance my clinical and professional development.

Lawrence Memorial/ Regis College, during my clinical placement at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, I functioned in the role of a RN under supervision of a RN preceptor providing comprehensive care to children and their families experiencing acute medical-surgical health alterations.

Sincerely,

Rosibel Guzman NP
