It is an Integrated Steel Plant having process DRI (4x100TPD), SMS (2x10T & 2x8T), MBF (262M3), CPP (2x12MW), Ferro Alloys (2x9MVA), Rolling Mill (40 MT).

Job Description

Operation & Maintenance of 132kV Sub-station (MRSS):

Detailed Experience:

•Day to day shift operation of 132kV,33kv Switchyard which includes co-ordination with Grid, CPP and other load centers.

•Co-ordination with other statutory government bodies like CESU, SLDC, OPTCL etc for smooth functioning of MRSS.

• Monitoring of different electrical equipments like 132kV SF6 CBs,33KV CBs, CTs, PTs, LAs, Power Transformers, 11kV Switchgear, Control relay panels, Battery and battery charger etc.

•Preventive / Predictive Maintenance and Overhauling of Electrical equipments, e.g. Transformers, Circuit-breakers, Switchboards, Battery bank, Battery charger, Switchyard equipments and various auxiliaries of electrical system.

•Co-ordination and monitoring of various activities during Annual Shut Down.

•Testing & commissioning of 132 kV sub-station equipments such as 36MVA Power Transformers, 132kV SF6 CBs, CTs, PTs, LAs, Isolators, 11kV VCBs, CTs, PTs, Relays and other related equipments.

•Driving efforts towards ensuring compliance to Quality, Environment & Safety system requirements and documentation to take care of all the statutory formalities. Systems, procedures developed & implemented for smooth operation of MRSS.

•Inventory management and spares procurement.

•Energy monitoring, auditing and implementation of energy management systems.

Involved in small improvement projects to improve reliability of the system.

Educational Qualification :

•DIPLOMA in Electrical Engg. from SCTEVT, Odisha with 62% marks in the year 2004.

•+2 Sc. from C.H.S.E., Odisha with 50% marks in the year 2000.

•10th from B.S.E., Odisha with 69% marks in the year 1998.

Software Skills :

I have experience of working in Ms Word, Ms Excel.
