Acquired and analyzed the demand pattern of previous 12 months. Chose an appropriate forecasting model to determine the future demand and an appropriate inventory control model to determine the optimum order quantity. With the new optimum order quantity, we achieved a CSL of 98%.

“Improving process capability of heating element installation process” at Bradford-White Corporation Middleville, Michigan Oct-2017 Analyzed the performance of non-shutoff tool & suggested shutoff tool. With the help of control charts, SPC & capability studies we demonstrated that with the new shutoff tool the process was more stable and had a higher process capability.

“Defect cost reduction in the manufacturing of spark plug insulator” at Bosch Limited Naganathapura, Bengaluru Jan-2015 - Apr2015 Analyzed the entire manufacturing process of sparkplug insulator. We redesigned the unloading arm, optimized the binder preparation process and suggested to change the conveyor belt material which brought down the overall defects significantly thus reducing the cost of manufacturing.
