GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT
SWARM BOTS- ADAMS Laboratory, University at Buffalo Jan 2018-Present
Successfully coded using Arduino IDE to establish communication between the miniature bots so that they can coordinate with each other about their current location and other information while performing emergency response applications.
Tested different combinations of power levels and data rates and stored all the collected data in notepad using PuTTY software to plot them in MATLAB and get high packet reception ratio among the bots. PROJECTS
OFDM Transmitter Jan 2018-May 2018
Designed OFDM transmitter on FPGA DE2i-150 board and Quartus Prime Software using Verilog HDL by implementing blocks like Serial to Parallel, QPSK, Oscilloscope, VGA controller and IFFT controller.
Successfully mapped the input data using QPSK into In -Phase and Quadrature Phase components depending on the input data and gave these as inputs to IFFT which converted the data into time domain and finally displayed the output on the monitor using Oscilloscope and VGA controller.
Implemented the IFFT output on MATLAB as well and plotted the amplitude of the In-phase signal. Tracking and Safety Gear Jul 2016-May 2017
Designed a safety gear which makes use of the output of Infrared sensor and coded it in such a way that it constantly checks if the rider has worn the helmet and only then turns on the engine.
Implemented features like alcohol detection using MQ3 sensor, accident detection using accelerometer and alerting hospitals, family using GSM module and tracking using GPS module.
Configured GSM and GPS in the smart helmet so that the location can be transmitted along with the accident alerting message.
INTERNSHIP
Summer Industrial Training Jun 2016-Jul 2016
Eduvance, Mumbai, India
Lead projects like ‘Object tracker’ which locates the PSoC device using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
‘Home Automation Controller’ also used BLE to control various digital appliances.
Developed projects like ‘IOT sensor node’ that could store data on the cloud server from any connected sensor using nRF Trans-receiver pair.
Designed a ‘Wireless Gesture Controlled USB Mouse’ using on board accelerometer and gave it a wireless feature using nRF Trans-receiver pair.
Implemented projects such as ‘High speed motion detection’ using on board accelerometer Freescale MMA8451Q and capacitive sensor APIs of mbed.
Successfully designed ‘Multi node Wireless Data Acquisition System’ using Arm mbed
