Company: FASTtelco communications Company –ISP, Kuwait o Title: Network Project Engineer (December 2014 – September 2018) o Key Responsibilities:

Participate in project management including planning, implementation, project documentation and handover.

Acting department supervisor.

Work closely with Pre-sales Department on designs/solution, bringing those designs solution from concept to production.

Perform the tasks of, implementing, supporting and managing networking infrastructure.

Coordinate and implementation of networking projects by working with vendors & business partners to insure that installation meet service level objectives

Update schematics and documentation of network structure and devices, develops and recommends network contingency & disaster recovery plan

Major Projects at Fasttelco Communication Company : 1. APERTO Fixed WiMAX (Kuwait Oil Company Project) o Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the SCADA WiMAX project with KOC

Aperto System (Wireless Broad Band) BS commissioning, CPE configuration and links troubleshooting.

RF Planning for Aperto Network Point to Multipoint and Point to Point scenarios.

In charge of the civil installation, CPE installation, configuration and commissioning

Network troubleshooting, maintenance and development

Daily plan the maintenance and installation for my team members

Complete a monthly incident report and verify the reports with KOC engineers

Complete a quarter, semiannual & annual KPI report

Working at OOREDOO Project (IP/MPLS Project (120 Sites, 20 rings) as a Datacom Engineer.

Handling Installation, commissioning & Migration from HUAWEI RTN Microwave Services & Ericsson AMM Microwave Services to CISCO ASR 903 Series

Configure ASR_903 (MPLS,BGP,OSPF, VRF, IGP, LDP,, Static routes, and BFD)

Have Strong Concept about VRF (Creating VRF Route-target, Route-Distinguisher).

Checking Tx, Rx Power for Fiber Links to make sure no Packet loss.

Weekly meeting with Cisco & OOREEDOO teams to check the progress of this Project

Install, Configure & Manage more than 25 Node belong to Fastatelco.

o Title: RF Field Engineer (Oct 2010 - November 2014 ) o Key Responsibilities:

Experience in RF drive testing to check parameters such as (Site coverage, Uplink & Downlink, Upload & download (RSSI & CINR), Soft handover & hard handover, Neighbors plan & Site level (antenna location, antenna azimuth, tilts & fiber crossing cable).

Scanning signal to check any RF interference by using ANRITSU Site Master.

Drive testing for problematic sites for monitoring and collecting data for further Examination.

Drive Testing for New sites for performance monitoring in order to assure that they work under a Defined thresholds and Criteria.

Giving input to RF planning department in terms of capacity, quality and coverage for expansion phases.

Preparing performance reports for new sites, which give a detailed description of site performance.

Planning to choose the proper location and characteristics for optimum solution as recommended by planning Engineers

Site validation based on RF, MW & Civil work perspective.

Supervision on full site installation indoor units (RAS, MW rack, Rectifier etc)

& outdoor units ( RF antenna, MW dishes, Feeders and connectors for feeders and jumper cables )

Check LOS for MW link (clear / blocked) & update the requirements of installing the link.

Commissioning, integration, Cell verification and troubleshooting of Samsung WiMax station.

WiMax Overlap project to increase the capacity of site by Swap WiMax antenna and RRH from 2T2R system to 4T4R system with configuration, test and drive test.

Installation, commissioning, alignment, capacity test and troubleshooting of Microwave links (Dragon Wave Horizon Compact & Horizon Quantum). 4

Installation and commissioning XPIC (Cross Polarization Interference Cancellation) Microwave protection in Horizon Quantum system.

Following up TI & MW installation, alarm system, inverters installation and reporting updating the status of sites.

Configuration and Test of WiMax CPE.

Resolving immediate issues for sites that are down or have alarms, remotely or in person.

Work on traffic classification and Quality of Service (QoS) on Samsung WiMAX and Aperto systems.

Site survey for RF planning and PTP survey for MW planning
