Establishing a procedural framework for identifying, collecting, distributing and filing the controlled documents for the projects.

Sets up the Document Control system (procedures, processes, templates, applications, etc.)

Runs & administrates the Document Control system for the projects.

First line of contact in the case of an escalation of a Document Control related issue.

Gate keeper of the Document Control rules and procedures.

Clarification, arbitration, technical authority role regarding Document Control issues.

Manages documents (internal & external).

Checks compliance and quality of documents.

Maintains a list (register) & files documents.

Distributes documents to relevant people.

Liaises with Consultant / Contractor / Subcontractor.

Reports on the progress of documents.

Perform regular audits to ensure Consultant & Contractor generated documents comply with company document management system

Composing Letters, memorandum, minutes of meeting etc.

Writing and maintaining document control procedures and participating in the development and roll-out of document control tools, such as scanning hardware, computer software, etc.

Ensure the information and management control system is implemented in compliance with the Client’s standard and is updated to reflect revisions to those standards. Program initiatives that may impact the control or distribution of information on the project.

Provide Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) audits of the hardcopy Document Control files and the Prolog electronic Document Control files

Coordinates a team of Document Controllers.
