Project Title HEAT TRANSFER ANALYSIS OF A FLAT & DIMPLED SURFACE Description To experimentally study the Heat Transfer Enhancement through different Circular

& Ellipsoidal Shape Dimple Surfaces in Longitudinal & Lateral Directions. Tools Used CATIA V5 R20 (Design Software),Heater Plate, Arudino Board, Sensors ( Temperature & Pressure ), Digital Anemometer, Blower. Challenges Designing of Dimples in CATIA V5 R20 Software.

Machining Of Spherical & Ellipsoidal Dimples on Aluminum Plates.

Placement of Sensors to measure Temperature, Pressure & Velocity Parameters.

To Adjust with the Heater Plate for Heating Of Plates.

Calculation of required factors to find out the Heat Transfer for each individual plates on the basis of measured velocities.

Project Title DOUBLE ACTING HACKSAW MACHINE USING SCOTCH YOKE MECHANISM

Description To design and construct a Hacksaw Machine for cutting of materials (E.g.: wood, etc) to different size & length with the help of Hacksaw Blades. Tools Used Pillow Block Bearings,Ball Bearings, Hacksaw Blade & Frame, Pulley, Shafts, Slotted Bar, Connecting Rods, Bolts & Nuts, Washers. Challenges Fabrication of Essential Parts to build a Scotch Yoke Mechanism.

Welding of Connecting Rod to the Flywheel rotation.

Fitting of Small Pulley in the Slotted Bar to achieve Reciprocatory motion.

Placement of Cutting Materials on wooden block piece to get sliced pieces.
