Airport Manager/ Airport Engineer, 2010 to 2017.

Overall responsibility for the management of a successful operation of a general aviation airport Major Accomplishments:

• Coordinated and lead the transition of the airport managed by a Fix Based Operator (FBO) to a City operated department.

• Prepare and manage budgets in excess of $2 million annually

• Managed planning, design and execution of $5.5 million apron expansion project.

• Responsible for the design, bid, construction management, and permitting of new airport terminal.

• Coordinated for and managed the Airport Master Planning process for the Covington Municipal Airport; directed consultants and conducted series of public open forum meetings and presentations to City Council for approval.

• Lead lease negotiations regarding new sources of revenue.

• Worked with the Newton County Chamber of Commerce in support of economic development efforts in the community; prepared facility reports, zoning maps and utility maps.

• Developed strong working relationship with the FAA and the Georgia Department of Transportation in support of the Airport Capital Improvement Plan.

• City representative to Atlanta Regional Commission and the Northeast Georgia Regional Commission.
