Lead Programmer
• Collaborated with a team to prototype an optimized solar panel array capable of deployment on Mars
• Responsible for developing and debugging an object detection system using Arduino code to prevent the drone from collision related accidents
• Developed a dust mitigation system by implementing techniques based from NASA’s ISS
• Tested and debugged code via the Atmega382 microcontroller
• Gained a working knowledge of Git
• Won $500 for funding through a prototyping competition PriCoSha – Introduction to Databases Project September 2017-December 2017 Lead Programmer
• Implemented a social media platform in Python utilizing the Flask framework
• The script was capable of encoding and hashing user passwords into a MySQL database
• Designed and managed databases that represented the relationship between users and group chats. Users can submit posts to group chats or directly message other users.
