Michigan Environmental Council: Lansing Michigan April 2018- Present
Energy Policy and Legislative Affairs Intern
● Scheduled and met with candidates running for state legislature, attorney general and governor where we educated them on environmental issues facing the state and developed a professional working relationship with them.
● Researched utility investment and infrastructure improvement plans and summarized them to the policy team. Met with Senators and Representatives to discuss statewide policies, attended legislative and public service commission meetings, and drafted blog posts focused on energy projects and developments in Michigan.
Mid-Michigan Environmental Action Council: East Lansing, MI Fall 2016-Spring 2017

● Completed a campaign to educate the community on the environmental issues and health of the Red Cedar River, received grant funding, particularly those living within close proximity to the river.
