OBJECTIVE

Position of responsibility, leadership as a site Construction Manager/Sr. Projects Superintendent/Traveling.

Would like to join a team of successful, energetic and driven persons to apply the Tenured 30+ years of experience in the construction industry, development and Owner

- developer sector. I have humbly achieved and assisted in the successful completion of numerous projects spanning venues such as commercial, industrial, Federal, State/Municipal, housing, owner / developer, both private and public, investment, joint partnerships and more. My goal is active participation in all phases of the management, administrative, supervisory process leading up to the award of projects and then the execution (I am accustomed to the RFP reviews, Preliminary Estimation Participation, Interview, Marketing, Post Award DD Estimation, Set-up OAC and Management Processes, Scheduling and Logistics, Owner Representation, etc.) Building teams from within the organization as well as alliances with our Subcontractors -close adherence to safety, calculated oversight of project at hand, aggressive performance to exceed schedule demands, track budgets carefully, familiarizing myself with company standards and core values, while bringing in new ideas and a unique character (which generally make me unorthodox) and effectively and persuasively taking the lead and setting the example in integrity, transparency, honesty, principle and vigilance.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the last 20 years I have successfully completed extensive and costly commercial, municipal, state and federal projects. ALWAYS ahead of schedule. In states of NH, MA, ME, NY, Conn, MT, ND, OK, TX, AR, WYO, CO, LA, NV, NE and Washington, DC and Overseas.

These projects consist of housing projects (executive living, resort lifestyle living, low income housing, student housing), schools, Public and Private housing, Healthcare, Civil, Correctional, Judicial (court houses), University and Higher Learning facilities, Aviation (airport), TI, Design Build, Remodeling, expansions and renovations, commercial/international headquarters, oil and gas facilities, industrial manufacturing facilities, custom homes, bridge and highway projects, Consulting and in house management, and more.

These experiences have made me adaptable to a multitude of environments as well as Company Legacies and Cultures both in the industry and in communities where all this took place.

I have especially had the honor to work on high security sites for branches of the military as well as Law enforcement.

All the experiences have taught me the humility of approach to this responsibility in that no ONE person can accomplish so much alone; only with the collaborative and cooperative efforts of all involved can success be attained. Recognizing each and all as individuals with various gifts and talents which are to be embraced, nurtured, encouraged and mentored.

My safety record is a most important accomplishment. Therefore, I have consistently been upgraded on my OSHA certifications (30), as well as First Aid and CPR. Other weekly and Monthly training and committees have been incorporated over the years. As my family is grown and (2) children- Ashley, Brittney- successfully on with their lives. Therefore, I am free to pursue responsibilities abroad unfettered. Thus I am willing to travel as my responsibilities may require. Free time is spent in the mountains...far away from the populous. Enjoy entertaining quests (Minimally). Planning a trip to Scotland to meet distant relatives. Steak and Lobster if you please. I enjoy my coffee. So, if you want to see me at peak performance, bring it Large, Hot, and with cream and sugar when you come out to the site to visit. Oh and my favorite color is Navy Blue. I do have a sense of humor.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Howell Construction Company: 09-2017 to present

Sr Projects Superintendent working primarily in the Denver Metro Area. Hired directly by the Owner and Principle VP’s (4) Oversight of Multiple projects. TI and Lab, Health Care, BIO Labs, Investment Firm, International Expansion Project. I am tasked with working at all levels administrative, Management, Marketing, Estimating, Sr Supervisory (heavy lifting for the project assigned Superintendents), Owners Rep, In house training and Mentoring, A Family Environment with an eye on serving others from the Top down. Evolving into a Ground Up GC Enterprise. CAMERON General Contractors: 01-2017 to 08-2017

Sr Project Manager Traveling. /Contracted Temp Position/ Responsible for project operations from Real Estate purchase, buyout, scheduling, contracts, permitting, owners Rep, meetings and coordination of all on site activities, purchasing, deliveries a and tracking, sequencing and look ahead, safety and coordination, all site communications and training.

Adolfson and Peterson, Aurora, CO: 05-2014 to 10-2016 Sr Superintendent assigned to assist and reorganize operations on ongoing projects, on site management of daily activities, crews, subcontractors, vendors, O AC and weekly meetings, update scheduling, QAQC, daily logs and evaluations of subcontractor performance, contracts review and adherence, safety training, close out and administration. I traveled extensively as needed and served in a Traveling Sr. Superintendent capacity.

D’Argent Companies Alexandria, LA: North Dakota Operations 07-2012 to 12-2013

Construction Manager for Mountain States Region operations. Managed new facilities contracts and management of construction projects for clients EXXONMobil, XTO Energy, Key Energy Halliburton and Baker/Hughes. Also, responsible to assist with land acquisitions, surveying, ALTA surveys, due diligence and property histories and all records. Daily progress reports, safety reports, permitting and inspections, review of all architectural and engineering results before contacting, bid processes, general and subcontracts, submittal approval, RFI’s, ASI’s, PR’s, C/O in house Client consulting, all liabilities, OAC meetings, scheduling and AIA contract document reviews. Project Manager on site, on record.

CMG Oil and Gas Billings MT; Ross ND 11-2010 to 07-2012 Construction Building Division Manager. Managed and supervised company expansion into oil and Gas site operations. New facilities acquisition, contracting, and overall management of building processes, personnel, contracts, safety coordination and equipment and excavation operations. Also involved in acquisition of new clients, i.e. Plains All American Pipeline, Plains Marketing.

CMG contracted me out to D’Argent companies for the Management position when requested by D’Argent for a recommendation for a qualified individual. CMG is primarily an Excavation and infrastructure General. Heavy Highway, Site Operations and Utilities.

Hardy Construction Billings MT 02-2007 to 11-2009

Project Superintendent/Site Manager. Entrusted to manage multimillion dollar projects from bid award to completion. From mobilization to close-out. Responsibilities included, kick-off meeting and project orientation with subcontractors, weekly safety meetings, daily progress, weekly meeting with clients, architects, engineers. Was privileged to represent Hardy in a News Media interview. Site and project walk thru with state officials including Governor Schweitzer, Max Baucus, and John Tester due to state funding, purchasing and corporate accounts, equipment procurement, presence at community meetings.

Projects I was Involved either assisting, taking control of or assigned control of from inception includes the Southern Lights Housing (LEED/Green), College of Technology, Red Lodge High School (LEED), Red Lodge Middle School, Independent School, Stillwater Mines, Patriot School, Billings Clinic Cancer Center.
