PROJECTS
CFD ANALYSIS OF SWIRL CAN COMBUSTION CHAMBER
New computational methods are continuously developed in order to solve problems in different engineering fields. One of these fields is gas turbines, where the challenge is to make gas turbines more efficient and to redude emissions that are bad for the environment. One of the main parts of a gas turbine that can be improved is the combustion chamber. In order to optimize the combustion chamber, both experimental and numerical methods are called for some of the recent applications of the CFD in gas turbines combustor used in the power generation, aeroengines and combustion industries. The aim is to illustrate what can be done and also to identify trends and those areas where further work is needed.
DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLE FRONT AXLE BEAM
The present vehicle market demands the low cost and the light weight component to meet the need of the cost-effective vehicle with the fuel efficient. This is in turn gives rise to effective use of materials for vehicle parts which will reduce the overall weight, with higher utility of industrial engineering etc., the source of the technique which are used. Stress analysis of the front axle of truck combine under static loading conditions resulted from the applied variations was performed by using the finite element method. The commercial finite element package ANSYS version 9.0 was used to solve the problems for front axle beam.
