Project Title- “Enhancement of Heat Transfer by jet Impingement on Pin-Fin Dimple Surface”

Duration- 7th and 8th Semester

Explanation-To analyze the heat transfer rates along the jet impingement area for close nozzle to jet spacing. The process of jet impingement is to incident the high velocity air jet coming from the nozzle on a target surface having dimples of various geometry. To monitor the heat transfer at a reference temperature for varying Reynolds numbers. The important characteristic of dimpled surfaces are they have simple geometry, light weight, low maintenance and low pressure penalty. Scope of project is Cooling of Microprocessor, Cooling of Electronic components such as Semiconductors. It can be implemented in boilers, vehicles engines and various Commercial Industries.

Duration- 6th semester

Explanation- Waste material like animal waste, garbage, plant leaves etc. are converted into Bio-gas which further converted in “Di-Methyl Ether Gas”(DME). It has low emission rate of NOx gas than diesel engine. DME is cheaper than diesel. Nissan and Volvo these are the company who manufacture the “TRUCK” on DME fuel.
