TEACHING PHILOSOPHY :

One of my major professional goals is to be an excellent teacher. Being interested to become a college professor I have been teaching in a college in addition to be fully engaged with my research. I believe that my graduate, Post graduate, and PhD in Clinical biochemistry training has given me a broad background in general biology, microbiology, virology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and molecular genetics and I am well prepared to teach in these subject areas. I am also interested in developing a course on clinical molecular virology and a course on its techniques of molecular biology with implications in basic and clinical research. In designing undergraduate courses, I want to expose my students to a wide range of fundamental concepts and up-to-date techniques used in modern biology in relation to clinical biochemistry. In addition, I want them to understand these concepts as part of a larger picture rather than to just memorize individual facts. I would employ a variety of tactics such as asking questions during lectures, use physical or visual demonstration by computers, and connect abstract concepts to practical issues not only to test their understanding but also to incite critical thinking about the subject matter. My formal teaching experiences include general biology courses which include basic biochemistry and molecular biology, plant and animal biology and anatomy and physiology at Indian Medical Schools, I teach class on Clinical Biochemistry, Nutrition, applied techniques in molecular biology under Nucleic acid biochemistry course for graduate student of MBBS, BDS, BPTH, Nursing, BHMS, BAMS, Vocational, Biomedical engineering, Clinical technicians at Mamatha Medical College, SBKS &RC, PIMSR Gujarat India . In addition to my classroom teaching experience, I have trained five graduate, two undergraduate and three high school students in their laboratory research. I have experience in speaking about my own research in several scientific meetings on Clinical Biochemistry. In addition, I always enjoy advising graduate students and fellow docs about research ideas and techniques throughout my research carrier. In conclusion, the goal of my teaching is to expand the ability of students to think critically and scientifically. I believe I will be able to achieve these goals through different ways of effective communication with students. I will use all modern techniques with complete engagement of students in the class.

FUTURE PLANS:

Mainly interested in Teaching, Research work & working in Clinical Biochemistry laboratory. Hence, would like to settle at a reputed University as a teacher and researcher

DECLARATION:

I pledge and pronounce that all the above information is true to best of my knowledge

Yours truly

Dr.BrahmaReddy. Malapati
