* Responsible for purchasing $37 million in castings from both domestic and international sources utilizing casting processes such as no-bake, investment, green-sand, and cold set methods cast from multi-impression and one off pattern equipment. Purchase barstock or forges finished machine components and other direct and indirect materials and services including new product development.

* Annual sales of $143 million.

* Participant of offshore sourcing strategy which was established in both with Chinese, Belgium, Korean and Taiwanese suppliers.

* Source services of either rough cast are fully machined and tested investment and sand castings, forgings, barstock machine components, stampings, tooling and loose assemblies.

* Original domestic expenditure of over $32 million to provide parts complete has been reduced to

$8.7 million.

* Responsibilities included knowledge of duty schedules, draw back, and complex contractual issues such as patent rights and epidemic product failure analysis including required UL / FMEA product failure reviews.

* Assisted in the establishment of a resident FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) thus eliminating costly production delays and product tool changes.

* Yearly savings in triple digits with doubling inventory turns from 5 to 11.
