Director of Sales and Marketing Bosal Exhaust 1990-2003

Recruited, hired, coached and supervised a sales force of 6 in Canada. Sales grew from $4.5 million in 1990 to just over $18 million in 2003. Growth was realized through increased sales of existing products as well as securing new distributors.

Responsible for the OES distribution channel in the U.S. and Canada. Growth in this channel was the main contributor to overall sales growth. Toyota Canada was the only customer for this channel in 1989. We successfully added Nissan Canada and Nissan U.S., Isuzu U.S., Honda Canada, Mazda Canada and Mazda U.S., and Subaru Canada. Volkswagen was added in all 3 NAFTA markets.

Counselled and advised the Mexican aftermarket team, culminating in being posted to Mexico from 2001-2003. Mexican sales were almost double when I left the firm.

Responsible for multiple distribution channels and several product lines.

Director of Sales and Marketing Carrier Air Conditioning (DS Fraser subsidiary) 1982-1990

Joined the family business, and subsequently was employed and promoted by CAC following their acquisition of the business. DS Fraser distributed HVAC and Refrigeration parts and equipment via a network of 20 branches in Ontario and the Maritimes.

The business was grown from 14 to 20 branches, and sales were doubled.
