Freelance Graphic Designer
March **** to Present
For the last two years I have been working from home on a variety of freelance projects for people and organisations in the Tacoma area.
Graphic Designer/Printer at Xerox Inc.
November 2010 to March 2016
The Xerox team was contracted with Nordstrom to provide an in-house design and print solution. My position with the team was as a individual contributor and producer, a role having elements of both design and print. The goal of the position was to maintain brand quality across multiple media and production methods. November 2008 to November 2010
After being invited back to PRMCE the role expanded to include the hospitals staff general news letter, and establishing the style for a department specific, patient facing newsletter, as well as creating patient guidebooks to fit with existing and new style guides.
Graphic Designer at Polis Political Services
August 2008 to November 2008
Working out of the state capitol, Olympia, my position was to create various mailers, flyer’s and brochures for local party candidates.
Graphic Designer at PRMCE
December 2006 to June 2008
This position was to fill the void after the lead designer left on medical leave, as such it was as much about fitting into a group dynamic as it was about continuing a standard of work already established. A role that I stepped into without hesitation and fulfilled to the point that I was invited back.
Photographic Retoucher at O’Connor Photography
September 2006 to November 2006
Originally billed as a position for a graphic designer, the role morphed into that of a photographic retoucher. Using Photoshop I was responsible for editing client photographs, from simple colour corrections to, in one mammoth project, replacing the painted backdrops of 300 images with photographic versions. Designer/Production Artworker at DW Green Co.
April 2005 to September 2006
My position was to create the layout for various newspaper inserts for supermarkets in the Mid-West. The services provided by the company varied from these inserts to websites and, in some instances, the complete branding for new stores Freelance Graphic Designer
July 2000 to June 2004
Working as a freelance designer I created pieces for Ralph Lauren and Reebok International amongst other smaller, companies throughout the UK. EXPERIENCE
