Career Summary
After graduation, started first career with PETRONAS Gas Berhad as a Plant Shift Supervisor. Main tasks were supervised production line, manage plant startup / shutdown and preparing safe worksite for maintenance job. After that, started second career with PETROFAC Malaysia Limited as a Drilling & Completion Engineer. Main task at the beginning is to assist Material Coordinator and Drilling Supervisor in managing drilling activities on the rig. Then, assigned to manage two water injectors well completion. Main tasks included design completion string, prepared completion program, troubleshooting, equipment inspection and well-site supervision. After that, became Drilling Data QA/QC Engineer with Eftech Drilling Solutions and Halliburton as a Drilling Data QA / QC Engineer. The task is to inspect Daily Drilling Report (DDR) and well data in Landmark’s Openwell then make necessary adjustment towards the data as per PETRONAS’s standard for DDR. Currently, working as a Research Officer in UTP under the project “Game Changing Well Technology using Electromagnet”. Technical proficiency in Landmark’s Openwell, Landmark’s Compass and Microsoft Office.

Conduct EOR experiment using Nano fluid with and without electromagnetic.
Calculate the oil recovery factor and make comparison between secondary recovery and tertiary recovery.

Responsibilities:
Designed well completion string and prepared completion programs for highly deviated well (60o to 75o angle). Coordinated activities, equipment and manpower during completion phase.
Troubleshot completion related problems. Inspected Service Company’s equipment at supply base to ensure everything was prepared prior to well completion.
Monitored daily expenditure, operation, and report, manpower and logistic movement.
Monitored and tracked actual daily drilling progress versus plan and tracked daily drilling operation cost.
Monitor offshore operation including drilling, casing running, cementing, wellhead installation, bit grading, torque & drag, BHA configuration, bulk consumption.
Initiated unplanned events report for NPT and provided initial analysis based on site investigation.
Created final well report for every well completed.
Supervised and monitored Formation Integrity Test/Leak off Test, BOP test and cement job with Drilling Supervisor.
Key Achievements:
Completed water injector well projects two days ahead of AFE (Authority for Expenditures) with zero HSE related issues, resulting in cost saving of USD $2M.
Introduced choke opening control in underbalance displacement procedure to maintain bottom hole pressure
(BHP) during Wellbore Cleanout (WBCO) and prevent rapid reduction in BHP which can cause potential hydrocarbon ingress to casing string.
Presented a paper, "Implementation of eRED Plug to Replace Slickline Operation", during Completion Workshop, 2015 in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Proposed Barite Recovery Mode for running centrifuge to reduce chemicals consumption by 30%.
