Responsibilities Included: Referral Coordinator, floating ALL of the Franciscan Medical clinics that required coverage with their referrals. Working hand in hand with the readiness owner of the referral portion of EPIC to make sure the clinics were processing their Referrals as trained. Staying in constant contact with providers and nursing staff to make sure the patients were properly taken care of. Obtaining any and all authorizations from insurance companies. Transcribed incoming referrals into the Epic system so schedulers could contact the patients to get scheduled.
