Production Manager – Cheese Department

Responsible for managing three departments within the Cheese Department in completing the require planning schedule to fulfill customer orders. Worked to maximize operational efficiency with continuous improvement of the operation, while maintaining a high level of safety awareness and quality integrity in ensuring GMP and product compliance.

Reduced Over-Time from ~40% in early 2017 to below 10% in April 2018.

Reduced waste lost on CL-1 by 50% via implementing Lean Manufacturing practices.

Worked with QA on reviewing and addressing non-conforming issues, completing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and working with California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA) when required. Also worked with QA in review of SQF and HACCP programs.

Responsible for three 3PLs to manage our distribution operation in Canada, Australia and Target domestically.

Responsible for analytical reviews and presentations of the distribution operation with consultants and other 3PLs to determine the best solution for the PF Distribution Operation.

Responsible for two Manufacturing Component Warehouses. Managed the Receiving, Ordering Picking and route of company truck to ensure Planning’s Production schedule was met to meet customer needs in Distribution.

Responsible for capital projects/budgets and facility issues at three facilities. Managed capital budgets for multiple projects in three different facilities. Would cover second shift production operation during peak periods in Manufacturing.
