PROJECT

Electroless Nickel Coating was carried out Mild Steel samples by varying deposition time on same temperature i.e 85oC. Mild Steel behavior was observed after said coating, causing various improvement in its properties i.e increase in corrosion resistance, hardness. However wear tear rate was also decreased at the same.

WORK EXPERIENCE

I started my career as a Assistant Manager Production of foundry shop in Pakistan ordnance Factories in April 2015.Where casting of Ferrous and Non Ferrous materials were carried out for the manufacturing of various components as required i.e Broken Machine parts etc.

I have also performed duties as a Assistant Manager Production and Planning in Carbide Factory of Pakistan Ordnance Factories, where Tungsten carbide related products i.e tools, dies and wear parts were being manufactured through Powder Metallurgical process. Chemical Vapor Deposition Coating were also carried out of the manufactured parts to enhance the life of the product.

Recently I am performing my duties as a Assistant Manager Maintenance in Pakistan Ordnance Factories, where I look after the maintenance of more then 850 different types of machines i.e Induction furnaces, plants, milling machines, presses, forging plants etc.

I have worked as a Production Engineer in the Siddique Group of Industries for 7 moths (10jun-Dec31), this group of industries include a Melting section for steel and a Rolling mills, where the billets were made through conventional close molding techniques, which was further processed through rolling mills to form rods. I was responsible for the maintaining the proper composition of the steel as per requirement of its strengths (tensile and yield strengths.

Work as Internee in CORROSON DEPARTMENT of OIL AND GAS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED (OGDCL) for four weeks, where I visited the various fields like CHANDA, MELA, NASHPA and DHAKNI. I was accompanied by the NURICON Karachi team, who were responsible for the installation of Cathodic Protection system on their newly discovered wells.

I have done 2 week internship in UET Lahore power plant (Gas operated), there we were being trained about the Maintenance of plant.

INDUSTRIAL TOURS:-

EMCO tiles industry (Gujranwala), where the tile and insulating electrical materials were made from different ceramic materials.

Visited PEOPLE STEEL MILLS (Khi),PAKISTAN STEEL MILLS (Khi), AFCO (Lhr)and ITEFAQ (Lhr) foundry.

Visited the “NUST UNIVERSITY” “Materials Science” Department Labs. Where we saw different equipment and machines such as SEM, XRD etc.

Visited the “PUNJAB UNIVERSITY” “Metallurgical and Material Engineering” Department Labs.

Attended Industrial Exhibition at PC Hotel Lahore for two Times. Where many famous industries such as AL-TAWARKI, PEOPLE STEEL MILLS, and RASTGAR etc shows their products.

Visited fabrication industries like AL-MAIRAJ (KHI), ALSONS (KHI).

Visited PACKAGES (LHR), PEL (LHR), MUGHAL CHEMICALS (LHR), SITARA CHEMICALS (FSD), MILLAT TRACTORS (LHR).
