Community Data Analytics for Social Harm (CDASH) Aug 2017 - Present In partnership with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS), the aim of my thesis is to create a distributed control software system for near real-time policing of heterogeneous social harm events. It will synthesize social harm data from multiple sources, identify social harm risks in space and time, and communicate the risk to the relevant community resources best equipped to intervene. Additionally, it will automate dynamic optimization of policing resources from data ingestion and risk modeling techniques using principles of Generative Programming and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
