RECENT PROJECTS

VPN (Virtual Private Network) (C) Mar 2018

Implemented a VPN on Ubuntu 16.04 with focus on security. Explored TLS/SSL, PKI and x509 Certificates, Routing, IP-Tunneling and Authentication concepts. Growth Model Prediction (Python) Dec 2017

SUNY-ESF uses various empirical equations, referred to as growth models, to estimate additional variables (required for analysis) when users only provide the bare minimum inputs (Tree data like total tree height, tree canopy).

Developed a neural network which estimates the additional variables

(Best accuracy for single variable was 98%)

Explored backpropagation, LVQ.

Deep Q Learning - Ping Pong (Python) Nov 2017

Developed and implemented a self-learning pong player using Convolutional Neural Networks and Deep Q learning.

Also implemented a Q network which works 200 times better than convolutional networks for an Atari pong Game.

Remote Code Publisher (C++) Mar 2017

Developed a small-scale dependency-based Remote Code Repository and a communication channel in C++ for supporting multiple clients to access the repository from any internet enabled machine.

The code files can be published into html format. Dependency Analyzer (C++) Feb 2017

Code analysis consists of extracting lexical content from source code files, analyzing the code's syntax from its lexical content, and building a Type Table or an Abstract Syntax Tree that hold the results of our analysis.

It is then easy to build several back-ends that can do further analysis on the data held in TT or AST to construct code metrics, search for constructs, or some other interesting features (mainly dependencies) of the code NoSQL Database (C++) Jan 2017

Implemented a NoSQL Database using C++ as part of Object Oriented Design curriculum under Prof. Jim Fawcett.

NoSQL database is an in-memory key/value database which is used to store ‘Big Data’ such as measuring weather patterns, analyzing social networks. Test Harness (C#) Aug - Dec 2016

Wrote an Operational Concept Document (OCD) and developed the code for a Remote Test Harness application in C#

Explored concepts of App Domain and WCF

Bare Metal TCP/IP Stack (C) July 2015

Developed a Bare metal TCP/IP stack for Raspberry Pi (undergraduate project).

Result: Raspberry Pi could receive and reply to ping messages sent from a MS Windows/Linux machine.
