Finished Goods Inventory Analyst

Approved inventory purchases from the manufacturing department inside the plant and from outside suppliers. Authorized product returns from sales and three Distribution Centers. Created a weekly analysis of the Physical Inventory to be reviewed by the plant manager and headquarters inventory control. Provided back-up support for the Non-Produced Ordering department.

●Promoted to Production Scheduler from this position in February 2010.

●Provided support for non-produced ordering by analyzing product demand to purchase needed product from outside suppliers and other plants within the company. Result was meeting goal in the largest segment of the plant’s fill rate.

●Initiated process with the warehouse and traffic departments to allow for trailer load outs directly from production. Allowing for a reduction in warehouse days on hand and increasing labor efficiency.

Inventory Control Manager

Created and supervised an inventory control department by developing job descriptions, skill testing, creating operational policies and procedures and designing a training manual.

●Identified material handling errors and created a process to determine cause and provided corrective action; thus improving customer fill rate to 98% over a 12 month period ranging from March 2003 to February 2003.

●Planned and executed a successful Physical Inventory.

●Created and implemented a daily cycle count program which eliminated the need and expense of performing annual physical inventories. Also resulted in inventory accuracy exceeding 99%.
