Project and training

I was attached with Mara Tech agencies for one month which deals with contract constructions. I learnt a lot on construction of roads and building.

6 months training on soil conservation measures and design of irrigation scheme at Alahe Company Limited.

At Alahe I also learnt how to install irrigation pipes, from the main pipes, sub main and the laterals. Also surveying so as to get the exact position of tanks. We also designed terraces for soil conservation. I also participated in the testing of the pump and the purchase.

3 months attachment at Agricultural Mechanization Station (AMS) where I learnt a lot on farm machinery. There I was tasked with repairing of a maize planter. We successfully repaired it and tested as a team of four students.
