MAJOR PROJECT

Title: Improvement of power factor and dynamic performance of induction machine.

Tools: Induction motor, Back-to-Back converter, MATLAB/Simulink

Description: This project aims at improving the power factor of induction motors by using back to back converter connected to rotor with a floating capacitor. Power factor and efficiency improvements of the induction motor are improved by setting different phase-shifting angle between the two converters.

Attended a two days workshop on ‘Application of FPGA in electrical engineering’ at sree venkateswara engineering college for women in Tirupathi on 16th September, 2016.

Attended a two days workshop on ‘Internet of things’ at S.V.Colleges in Tirupathi on 17th October, 2016.

Presented a paper on ‘Electrical energy technology generating energy from garbage’ in national level technical symposium Ample2K17 held at S.V. Colleges, Tirupathi.
