Major Responsibilities as Night Auditor :

To operate computer with its automatic night audit system and to produce balanced daily result.

To verify the accuracy of data by auditing preliminary reports and by making corrections before totals are finalized

To provide assistance to Front Office Cashier if or whenever required. To familiarize with the handling of cashiering functions in order to make necessary corrections.

To segregate the day’s credit card charge vouchers by company and balance them with the computer totals and POS Machine. To watch for and alert internal auditor of any expired cards. The use of wrong company vouchers, incomplete imprints and so forth so that the requisite action may be taken.

To balance all manually posted charges

To ensure the daily accuracy of outlets reports, Bills and restaurant checks, before sending them to accounts department.

To go through assigned book and front office cashier log book to the current messages

To print arrival and departure report, rate changes report and verify register maintained before room charge process.

To check and verify all transfer debit and credit transactions of the day

To close POS credit card machines and tally with changes

To run the night audit process and take the necessary daily back-ups as scheduled

Suggest improved methods and procedures on products to management & makes appropriate recommendations to F & B Controller.
