Managed outsourced logistics contract for sellable inventory and product availability in seven logistic centers for Sharp Electronics. Maintained fill rates and days of supply (DOS). Coordinated logistics for containers from the Port of Los Angeles to the distribution center. Analyzed data and reporting to maintain appropriate product levels and purchasing decisions.
Consolidated and automated three manual shipping reports into a single Excel spreadsheet macro for incoming shipments via the Port of Los Angeles saving three-manhours daily.
Created reports and facilitated monthly vendor calls with Sharp leadership team to review service level metrics and resolved action items over achieving the in-zone fill rates of 95% on a goal of 80%.
