Project Description:

The under construction 84 MW Gorkin Matiltan Hydropower is located in Matiltan valley, 21 km far from Kalam, district swat, KPK. The project envisages a 5 m High Ogee type Concrete Weir on Ushu River, Intake structure, 0.7 km long box channel, Inlet pond, De-sander chamber, Outlet pond, Connecting channel, 6.5 km long unlined headrace tunnel, access tunnel, surge tank, Penstock, Switchyard, Powerhouse and free flow tailrace channel.

Construction, testing and operation of diversion structure including coffer dam, impervious fill and gabion wall on river side.

UPPER JHELUM CANAL PROJECT

Project Description:

The proposed Upper Jhelum Canal between Rim stations of Mangla on Jhelum River and New Khanki Barrage on Chenab River, Punjab. UJC is designed to serve as a Link channel connecting River Jhelum with River Chenab to mitigate the shortages of canal supply upstream of New Khanki Barrage. The design discharge of Canal is 8975 cusecs with average bed width of 235 ft. and flow depth of 10 ft. and 1: 6666 longitudinal slopes. The objective of the study is to improve conveyance efficiency, reliability and durability of the system by rehabilitating / remodeling Upper Jhelum Canal and to ensure irrigation supplies in the range of 6,000 to 8,000 cusecs for New Khanki Barrage in Rabi season / Dry period.

Project Description:

The proposed Dadhocha Dam Project is to be located on Ling River in Rawat Industrial Estate, district Rawalpindi, Punjab. Ling River is a tributary of Soan River. The project envisages a 123 ft. High Zoned Earth Fill Dam on Ling River with Live storage of 45,000 AF having 35 MGD water supply Capacity. The Spillway located on right periphery is 250 ft. wide un-gated ogee type structure with a discharge capacity of about 42,318 cusecs which is 1,000 years return period flood event.

Project Description:

The proposed Dhadar Hydropower Project (10 MW) is to be located on 3.5 km lower stretch of Dhadar Nullah near Batakundi village in Kunhar valley, district Mansehra of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Dhadar Nullah is a left tributary of Kunhar River with its confluence near Batakundi village. The project envisages a 20 m High Weir on Dhadar Nullah, 3.2 km long headrace channel, 0.9 km long penstock, a surface powerhouse and free flow tailrace channel.
