Dissertation

Busy with my dissertation with the topic “Behavioural intentions of visitors at an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) festival” [ 25 000 words].

-Performing extensive research on the topic of behavioural intentions and the history of festivals.

-Working with my professor as my dissertation leader.

-Analysing data (by using SPSS) collected through field surveys of people attending H2O music festival.

Golf Day

Together with a group of 13 other Honors students, organized a golf day, where I was responsible for:

-marketing of the event – designing posters and sharing on social media as well as distributing posters in town and on campus.

-Obtaining sponsors for golf holes and prizes.

-Selling raffle and auction tickets.

The golf day raised a total profit of R55 000 ( $3 615)] – awarded best Tourism Honors group of 2018 and broke the record for most profit made since the golf day has been hosted.

Surveys

Attended the Annual South African Bike Festival 2018 to complete questionnaires thereby assisting the university to collect the required data and information for future research.
