In airport sector GVK is operating Mumbai International Airport, which is one of the biggest and busiest airports in INDIA.

During my tenure, I have successfully participated in:

Actively participated VVIP level Standby activities during the visit of president of INDIA to Mumbai INDIA.

Activated and participated in FULL EMERGENCIES and Local Standby on numerous occasions.

Operational Trained on ROSEANBER PANTHER 6x6 and OSHKOSH STRIKER 6x6 Crash Fire Tenders .

My responsibilities are as follows:

To Lead and carry out Firefighting and Rescue activities.

To maintain high level of competence on all Fire Service equipments, practices and procedures by undertaking regular training.

Respond to fuel leakage and toxic gas leakage.

Daily basis testing of B.A SETS like High pressure test, low pressure test and DSU testing and making the set ready for any emergency scene

Routine testing of Fire pumps, hydrant posts, half yearly testing of SPRINKLERS in building

Daily basis testing of FIRE TENDERS check there serviceability, pump output, rescue equipments check and maintenance.

To check the Fire Tenders acceleration on monthly basis to meet the response time in case of emergency.

To maintain safety of workers at construction site in Airport, to check there Personnel Protective Equipments (PPE), provide them hot work permit, maintain there in and out logs etc.

Attain Fire and other Emergency Situations, carrying out basic techniques such as laying hose, raising and climbing ladders and fire suppression using a variety of techniques and skills

Operate manual and hydraulic rescue devices, powered rescue saws, litters and handle ropes and knots according to the specified procedures and instructions.

Participate in physical training, squad drill and firefighting& rescue drill

Updating all documents and records, Test and Maintenance of Fire vehicle, firefighting equipment and training

Participate in Fire Drills/Exercises with Airport staff and other Emergency services

Ensure the functionality of fire prevention system, Review and Audit of fire installation system in airport.

Administers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to crash victims.

Provide std by duties for hot work and hazardous material loading and off loading

Identification for hazardous material and storage area (cargo)
