PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Elbow Implant Fall 2018
• Created a stable elbow implant that can withstand high applied force with no dislocation, little displacement, and a low stress point by using SoildWorks software.
• Perform simulation testing by using Autodesk Inventor. Development of a Vein Finder Device Spring 2017
• Designed a device that helps practitioners find veins more easily after performing background research to determine the FDA classification of the device and review existing vein finder devices.
• Enhanced image quality by improving optical illumination, built electronic circuit with LEDs lights.
• Designed a new ergonomic case using SoildWorks software and created the case using 3D printing.
• Proposed a design of the user interface by creating a GUI in MATLAB software. Tensile and Shear Impact Testing Experiment Spring 2017
• Examined basic samples of modes in which loads may be applied: tensile, compressive, and shear.
• Utilized various materials at different temperatures to determine the effects on the elastic to plastic transition point and maximum load.
CFD Analysis on a Submarine Fall 2017
• Explored and navigated the drag force acting on the submarine with different fluid velocities determined by model-testing using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Solidworks Flow Simulation by using different mesh resolution to enhance the accuracy.
