General Motors: Scrum Master for $1.5M Services engagement that included multi-solution architecture and four subject matter expert teams for Adobe Experience Manager, Target, Analytics and Audience Manager. The teams included onsite, offshore, remote and on call consulting as well as technical product and account teams. This effort directly supported a $7M multi-year enterprise license. Effort also included Agile SAFe, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, RDBMS and Cloud technologies.

State of Tennessee: Program Manager for this Scrum of Scrum program delivering a comprehensive set of solutions using Adobe Experience Manager components to upgrade and integrate operations within and for the TN CIO. This included Campaign, Audience Manager and Analytics. This $2+M engagement included 3 additional Scrum Masters and a total of five running projects. The Web implementation efforts included Java, SQL, Microsoft Office and AWS.

Cox Communications: Scrum Master for highly successful $3.3M Agile services project that included AEM, Target, Analytics, AAM and Search & Promote. This 18 month effort was phase one of a multi-year program to help this industry leader replace their custom internal system with AEM and move to a mobile driven enterprise solution. The end-to-end solution included teaching the customer team Agile, building all reporting and governance processes, leading the Agile development teams, as well as the separate User Acceptance and System Performance testing requirements. Solution included SQL, HTML, JavaScript, RDBMS, DW/BI, AWS, Jira, and performance testing and monitoring technologies.

National Reconnaissance Office: Program Manager for AEM implementation that included several tracks for the customization of the Adobe Experience platform as well as AEM Forms. This multi-year engagement ultimately developed new product components that were evaluated as part of other implementations within the Intel Community. The customization effort included Java, SQL, Microsoft Office and extensive DW integrations.

T-Mobile: As Scrum Master I kicked off a $5M enterprise engagement as they upgraded AEM and implemented AAM. The effort included establishing all governance standards for the long-term implementation, leading the strategic discovery sessions as well as the full implementation and acceptance of AAM. The initial success with AAM lead to expanded enterprise license. Solution included Java, SQL, RDBMS and Cloud technologies.

Other projects included: NYC Comptroller implementation of Adobe Sign; CA Highway Patrol implementation of AEM Forms; Intranet development upgrades using AEM for State of TN, NGA, PA Liquor Control Board; and AEM upgrades for Old Dominion University, CIA, NSA, NGA, CA Highway Patrol and VA DMV.

PMO Leader Federal Services Group

Lead Digital Transformation program service delivery within the Federal, Intelligence Communities and State governments. Successfully helped close and deliver several $1M+ service engagements within the Intel, Law Enforcement and state government agencies with TN, NY, CA, MN and PA.

Actively lead and support 11 PMs and 7 Engagement Mangers selling and delivering services using SQL, AWS, SharePoint and RDBMS technologies.

Was an initial contributor to Adobe’s Digital Transformation Leader program. My efforts helped build the DTL training program and integrate this organization into the larger Adobe sales and services teams.

eSentio Technologies, Washington DC 09/13 – 01/15

Responsible for leading all Consulting Services delivery for this specialized services firm defining and implementing digital transformation and technology solutions for top legal firms in the United States. Responsibilities included:

Established and managed the PMO organization teaching team PMP standards, oversight of the entire consulting organization and operational responsibility for delivering services. Increased revenue by 50% to $7M while maintaining margins through aggressive pre-sales support, changes in delivery methodology and extensive use of subcontractors.

Developed and maintained strong customer and stakeholder relationships from the point of sale through delivery and implementation sustainment.

Identify, definition, develop and implement business solutions, including digital transformation and implementation projects unique to the legal technology environment. The system solutions include Java, SharePoint, SQL, DRM enterprise software with integrated database and data warehouse solutions.

Public Sector Operations Director / Senior Program Manager

BMC Software 08/03 – 04/13

Promoted to PMO Director in July 2012. Responsible for the East and Federal Consulting Services teams delivering more than $52M in revenue annually. Lead three Regional PMO Managers, 30+ project managers and over 80 architects and consultants teaching PMP principles. Achievements included:

Improved billable utilization of the team by nearly 22%.

Lead initiation and oversight on all Professional Services engagements and projects. This responsibility included staffing assignments, implementation standards and project monitoring to ensure that projects are defined accurately, delivered completely and exceeded customer expectations. During my tenure improved profit margin by 20%.

Lead the team that developed a new set of ‘outside the box’ solutions. This included processes and support for both customer facing and internal teams and all necessary digital and PMO training used to solve business these identified repeatable business problems.

Senior Program Manager

US Army Enterprise Service Desk: Lead a team of 10 consultants and project managers in the design, development and deployment of the Remedy and ITSM Suite 7.6.02 (IM, PM, CM, Asset and reporting and Analytics). This global deployment included over 200 US sites and almost that many more around the world. This $45M+ engagement has led to the consolidated savings for the Army that completely offsets the investment cost. This lead to supplemental efforts with PACOM, EUCOM, CENTCOM and AFRICOM under separate contracts.

Adobe Systems: Lead the consolidation and optimization of their five data centers into two. This data migration effort was done in collaboration with their larger corporate infrastructure enhancement initiative and the data center migration was in the critical path. The cross-functional team included Adobe administrators and developers working together with BMO subject matter experts to model and then build the solution without disrupting ongoing operations. This effort also includes a comprehensive training and sustainment effort to help convert Abode to a SaaS environment. The result was a $7M enterprise license and continued services.

Epicor Software: This was a service support upgrade to embed the BMC AppSight root cause analysis system into their existing award winning support center. My team worked with the Support leadership team to design the solution, deploy it and train all support users on the functionality. This included integration all the way back into their customer sites where level 1 support was handled and included a very significant user documentation effort. Epicor achieved their return on investment in a year.

Other projects included: Remedy system implementations for US Air Force, DHS, NASA, USPS, USDA and ; AppSight implementations and SME support for Citigroup Technology, SAP, Humana, Fidelity Investment, NCR Corporation, Verizon Wireless, OfficeMax, Target, Allscripts, AIG, Bank of Nova Scotia, EchoStar Satellite, Cardinal Health, Medquist and Legato.

These solutions typically included Java, SQL, Oracle 11i and custom integrations. The project management efforts includes all governance and reporting, discovery, development, testing, production and post-production support.

Responsible for all Technical Services delivery throughout the customer life cycle for the Southeast region. Additionally:

Directed all software applications development and information systems integration activities both within the organization and for external customers building the department annual revenues to $7.5M all while achieving or exceeding every utilization and margin target during my tenure.

Managed the development and implementation of all customer and system project plans. Supervised all engineering activities ensuring development decisions were evaluated analytically and in a systematic manner. Pro-actively identified risks, developed and presented mitigation plans.

Member of the Oracle Project Management Service Line. Certified as a Master Project Manager in the Oracle PMBOK Methodologies and Oracle Project Management based on the PMP standards. Participated in development of Oracle Standard Operating Procedures for project management.

As a Master Project Manager with Oracle successfully managed a number of implementation and technology projects. Examples representing the diversity of work include:

●Helena Chemical Company: Lead a team of 4 in the Oracle 11i assessment and than a team of 8 in the implementation of Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, CM, FA), Oracle Inventory, Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Manufacturing and Oracle Order Management. This effort delivered a comprehensive implementation and deployment strategy and project plan to upgrade the company ERP suite. The collaborative effort resulted in a $4M savings to Helena.

●Global Knowledge: Lead the pilot implementation of an Oracle 9i Applications Server and a custom developed portal for this IT training company. The cross-functional team included Oracle developers, customer IT staff, systems engineers from the Internet Service Provider and offshore testing resources. The result was a dynamic online scheduler and interactive catalog

●ADT Security: Managed a team of 12 subject matter experts and developers in a custom integration effort between Oracle 11i and the customers internally developed mainframe and CRM applications. This effort required significant coordination with five other development project teams and integrated information transfer through TIBCO and MQ Series.

●BellSouth: Lead a team of over 30 consultants in the design and implementation of a custom enterprise application implementation for a $7M e-Commerce storefront for their DSL sales and service division. The implementation was developed under the BellSouth Unified Modeling Language standards and required the maintenance of all SDM documentation and coordination with their PMO.

Solutions typically included C++, SQL in addition to Oracle RDBMS and other customer integrations to existing back end systems.

Responsibilities included establishing and managing a software development and consulting service team for this new branch office.

Opened this branch office and achieved over $1M in revenue in the first year.

Provided input on technical aspects for multiple projects and tasks on all custom development and data warehouse implementations, including requirements and system analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of computer programs for enterprise/end user applications.

Full P&L responsibility for region and staff of 12 people, including delivery and sales consultants. Responsible for recruitment, staff reviews, counseling, employee development and training.

Carolinas Managing Director

Questra Corporation 7/98 – 12/99

Directed all revenue opportunities, software development projects, consulting engagements and facility operations for over 35 professional consultants in North and South Carolina. Responsible for full P&L management and staffing of e-Commerce, Business Intelligence and CRM projects throughout the region.

Re-engineered the corporate service offerings from a staff augmentation model to a project based e-Business consulting model. This effort included defining and executing a new business focus that included service partners, practice managers and an integrated business development model resulting in a doubling of annual revenues, opening a second office and more than doubling headcount.

Successfully sold and delivered numerous custom, web-based and enterprise application implementation projects significantly expanding our active client base.

Technical Manager of Infrastructure

AT&T Solutions – Customer Care 8/97 – 7/98

Evaluated, assessed and provided detailed direction for all technology matters of corporate business. Responsible for supporting all internal systems for this $478 million, 11,000 plus employee business, including all financial, human resource, sales & marketing, data warehouse operations, Intranet and internal help desk.

Responsible for the assessment of new technology and their insertion into the infrastructure to support business and operational requirements.

Developed and managed the division multi-year IT Infrastructure plan and budget. Implemented a system consolidation that combined all vendor systems into one solution, resulting in a 20% savings in staff and maintenance costs.

Arthur Andersen, LLP 3/96 – 8/97

Directed the software development lifecycle for over 100 products and various custom interfaces used by the Individual Tax Practice. This software was used in over 80 internal offices and by more then 4200 external customers to process 1.7 million tax returns and accounted for $22 million in revenues.

Worked with Testing, Quality Assurance the Infrastructure teams to modify the software development methods in use. Resulted in a one-third reduction in the testing phase of my commercial software projects.

Managed a direct reporting staff of 65 people.

Successfully managed a $5 million Navy Submarine Research and Development program. The program objective was to examine operations, identify potential problem area and design methods to improve operational effectiveness. Planned and executed 5 major operational evaluations.
