SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Over 24 combined years of outstanding service as Respiratory Therapist with experience as a charge and a unit therapist and providing pulmonary care to patients of all ages who suffer from pulmonary (breathing) disorders as directed by patient physician, including assignment, monitoring and treatment, performing diagnostic testing, setup and utilizing cardiopulmonary equipment and machines needed to assist or monitor patients breathing within emergency room, SICU, MICU, NICU, Pediatrics, and Floor Therapy. Assist open cardiac surgeries maintain ventilation management, bronchoscopy, tracheal lavage, tracheotomy care, assisted in endotracheal intubation and extubation with all weaning parameters. Clean, sterilizes, assembles, and maintains equipment as required. Member of patient care team to asses and develop care plans and discharge plans. Also perform, exams and control patients’ blood-oxygen to include, ABGs, and proficient in administering and analyzing EKGs, practiced in the states of Georgia, Florida, Kentucky and certified by National Board of Respiratory Care. Also have current certification include BLS,PALS,ACLS,NRP and ASLS

2007 – Present – St. Francis Hospital – Columbus, Georgia - Perform the clinical procedures in the critical care areas for the Cardio-Pulmonary patients as prescribed by physicians. Possesses appropriate education, experience, and training to assure competency as delineated in the age specific competency assessment.

2004 – 2007 Moved to Warner Robins, Georgia - Accompanied my spouse on his Military assignment to Robins AFB, Ga. Home School Mom and applied for and received Georgia State license as a Respiratory Therapist.

2001 - 2003 - Baptist Hospital East, Louisville KY - Provided pulmonary care to children of all ages who suffer from pulmonary (breathing) disorders as directed by patient physician, Emergency room care, pediatrics, Floor therapy, setting up and utilized cardiopulmonary equipment and machines to assist, administer and monitor patient breathing treatments, following and charting doctors orders, teaching and helping patient understand the reason for treatments, member of codes team, patient care, rehab, sleep lab, nursery nasal C-Pap and ABG’s
