Lead Processing Assistant IV

Access memorandums and interpret laws for employers concerning their quarterly tax reports and payments. Determine original assessment date and amount of tax due. Review the master record to insure that all information concerning the employer is up to date.

Assists in the collections, reconciliation, balancing and posting of monies collected on a daily basis. Generate letters of action notices and document actions to be taken. Notify the employer of judgements and legal actions that may be taken against them.

Take phone calls from out of state employers and financial institutions to help their tax rates. Assess penalties and fees to determine if they are eligible for waivers.
