The project calls for the construction of a tram rail within the campus of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development in Qatar. The project also includes 25 stations along the 11.5 kilometer-route and also a fleet of 19 three-section Avenio trams with HES energy storage

The people mover system will transport 3300 passengers per hour in each direction using a total of 19 trains. A 915 meters long viaduct that accommodates two parallel lanes and two stations is also part of the new route. The tracks run at a height of approx. 7.5 meters above ground level. The viaduct consists of a total of 10 elevated structures with two to five spans. The longest elevated structures are 125 meters long and consist of five 25 meters spans

Project Description:-

Lusail is the newest planned city in Qatar, located on the coast, in the northern part of the municipality of Al Daayen. Lusail is located about 15 km north of the city centre of Doha, just north of the West Bay Lagoon, on over 35 km and will eventually provide accommodation for up to 260,000 people. It is planned to have marinas, residential areas, island resorts, commercial districts, luxury shopping and leisure facilities, including two golf courses, an all giraffe zoo and an entertainment district. Construction is still ongoing. It is being developed by the state-controlled developer Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company as well as Parsons Corporation. The new Lusail Iconic Stadium, with a capacity of 86,250, will host the opening and final matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. To be located in Lusail, the stadium takes its inspiration from the sail of a traditional dhow boat and is surrounded by water. After the FIFA World Cup, the stadium will be used to host other sporting and cultural events.

Responsibilities

Involving with final handover process such as review and approval of Operation and Maintenance Manual, As- Built Drawings, Red Mark drawings, Final Dossier from the sub contactor.

Coordinate with Client for issuance of Provisional & Final Acceptance Certificates. Verify claims/variations & certify final account of the project

Provide the support of preparing the commissioning program of the projects and keep monitoring deliverables are according to the program prepared.

Reviewing all subcontract commissioning documents and ensuring the commissioning documents are developed with the quality.

The 5,500 spectator stadium, touted to be one of the most advanced and ‘green’ handball complexes ever built, will be the focal point of the competition, occupying an area 44,233 m2 in Al Ahli Sports Village. The 5,500 spectators including the presidential and exclusive seats are adequately cooled and ventilated through a displacement system. The stadium features a soft scape water feature with other amenities like player accommodations, restaurant and lounges for guests, pools and grandstands and more. Training halls : 2,Seating capacity : 5500,Player accommodation : 60,Area : 40,000 sq.m. Restaurant and lounges, Medical Center, Gymnasium.

Responsibilities

:

Coordinate with the Commissioning Engineers and ensure the development of integrated commissioning plans in addition to overseeing the preparation of commissioning schedules.

Contribute to the development of a logically linked testing and commissioning programme as part of the overall project construction.

Lusail is the newest planned city in Qatar, located on the coast, in the northern part of the municipality of Al Daayen. Lusail is located about 15 km north of the city centre of Doha, just north of the West Bay Lagoon, on over 35 km and will eventually provide accommodation for up to 260,000 people. It is planned to have marinas, residential areas, island resorts, commercial districts, luxury shopping and leisure facilities, including two golf courses, an all giraffe zoo and an entertainment district. Construction is still ongoing. It is being developed by the state-controlled developer Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company as well as Parsons Corporation. The new Lusail Iconic Stadium, with a capacity of 86,250, will host the opening and final matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. To be located in Lusail, the stadium takes its inspiration from the sail of a traditional dhow boat and is surrounded by water. After the FIFA World Cup, the stadium will be used to host other sporting and cultural events.

Responsibilities :

Managing and designing for the Pumping Stations, Water Treatment Plants, 11kV Substations, Utility Tunnels and PLCs, SCADAs Switch

Gears, MCC Panels, UPSs, VFDs, etc.

Dealing closely with the local authorities such as Kahramaa,ASHGAL,Q-TEL,Civil Defence etc.to find the network

approvals, electrical approvals, civil defence approvals, building permits etc.Involving all the subcontractor contractual issues including

reviewing and confirming the subcontractor correspondence

Review Method Statements, Inspection and Testing Plans, Material Submittals, Risk Assessments, and other relevant Technical Documents (shop drawings, as-built drawings, etc.) submitted by subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract documents, and obtain approval from the Consultant.

Provide assistance, guidance, support and supervision to less experienced engineers, also provide the training for them

Assist QA/QC Manager and his staff in inspecting the quality of the MEP subcontractors works at the site.

Liaise with supervision, management, surveying, planning, safety, quality and commercial teams and provide them with information as required.

Development of the Testing and Commissioning Strategy for the Projects and to establish the sequence, scope and detail.

Manage testing and commissioning activities for the project and ensure the safe testing and commissioning establish in the project.

Coordinate the suppliers to arrange the Factory Acceptance Test(FAT) and fin the approvals with assessor.
