Employment History
2016 (Aug) – Present
Coordinator at MOL Chemical Tankers Pte Ltd
I was headhunted by my current company, as a Coordinator, mainly to compensate for the lack of expertise in software implementation, which included the overhauling and streamlining of business processes and software applications globally.
My current duties are as follows:
- Playing the role of a bridge engineer in multiple software projects to ensure proper communication of users' needs and system limitations between vendors and users.
- Project planning which includes but is not limited to schedule planning, coming up with system
designs with vendors
- Internal software support and diagnostics
- Report design and data analysis
- Japanese-to-English translation of project-related documents for non-Japanese

Senior Project Consultant at Ubiq Global Solutions Pte Ltd
Apart from the technical support work I oversaw at my previous position, I was assigned to assist our developers with their work on our BI software.
In addition, I was also responsible for managing the company’s CRM system, and software customization, which helped improve the service we provide to our clients.
Reason for leaving: Looking for a new environment and new experiences
2013 (Nov) - 2015 (Nov)
Project Consultant at Ubiq Global Solutions Pte Ltd
UbiQ Global provides hotels with property management and point-of-sales software. Due to the company being based in Malaysia, I was hired to be solely responsible in serving our local clients.
As a Project Consultant, I am mainly responsible for the installation, training, and any post-implementation support of our various products. The nature of my job required me to face clients often. With all my colleagues previously working in hotel operations, 2nd level support was usually forwarded to the developers who were stationed in India, or even the UAE. The workload causes delay in their response at times.
My employment and education background enabled me to perform further diagnosis and even come up with solutions alone instead of forwarding issues to 2nd level support. This saved time, and sometimes effort, as it may be difficult to communicate an issue to the developers and have them actually understand the problem.
