This new administration engine supports both the accumulation and distribution phases of life and annuity products with expanded features and functionality. Wealth Management Accelerator has enhanced fund processing, supports financial allocation models and provides web services for integration.

Enhancements: A new framework (System) is being set up using the base wmA model owned by CSC. I am working on enhancing the functionality of wmA to fit MetLife’s requirements
Defect Resolution: Resolving defects raised on Jira (Issue & Project Tracking solution) during SIT and UAT phases

General Zurich (GenZ) UK Account for Personal Lines of Business (Aug 2007 – Mar 2017)
Zurich has a presence in Personal, Commercial and Corporate Insurance on both sides of the Atlantic, Asia and key emerging markets. Zurich U.K consists of different applications to deal with personal and commercial insurance individually and the project is handled using Mainframes including both batch and online programs involving COBOL, JCL, CICS and IMSDB, DB2.
GenZ is a mainframe application which stands for General Zurich that covers all personal lines of business for motor, home and accident policies. The work in GenZ involves development and maintenance for all its business requirements constituting Policy, Accounts, Documentation and Claims sub-systems.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering:
1)Engaged closely with Zurich clients in understanding the requirements and project scope.
2)Preparing the project specification document by discussing with the clients.
3)Worked with the client throughout the project period in preparing test plans enabling them to
Test and document various projects artifacts
Scoping and Estimation:
1)Engaged closely with Zurich clients in defining the scope of the enhancement/project depending upon the timelines and criticality.
2)Prepared estimation documents such as ZET (Zurich Estimating Tool) and TMW (Task Management Worksheet) since 2013 for the work orders in GenZ.
3)Ensured that no SLAs were missed in issuing estimates to the client
Issue & Risk Management
1)Whenever there are any escalations or concerns raised by Zurich on the cost/scope, I have been involved in coming up with a consensus. My role also involved resolving team level conflicts.
2)Identified various risks in the initial stages of any project/task such as limitations on testing, availability of resources, issues in the testing region. These have been notified to the business in advance so that necessary precautions could be taken.
Task and Project Execution: I have been playing an SME role since 2010.
1.Playing the technical lead role for major projects in GenZ.
2.Contributing to major projects beyond GenZ such as the Zurich Municipal area project.
