SUMMARY OF MYSELF AND MY PRINTING EXPERIENCE:

My first real job was in the printing world and I have been in it pretty much ever since. Totaling my bindery experience at about 15 years. I truly enjoy the challenges, the experiences with different types of printing and processes, the growing knowledge, the career advancement opportunities and the people I get to work with each day. I am a reliable, mechanically able, self and team motivated operator that is always eager to learn more and apply new skills. I am a strong leader that enjoys motivating others in a positive manner and keeping the moral of my crew light and fun while keeping quality first in mind and production at 100%, or better. I have been very successful in managing crews and operating stitchers, perfect binders and other miscellaneous bindery equipment.

Some of the machines and equipment I have experience operating include;

- Mueller Perfect Binder (currently operating)

- Mueller Saddle Stitcher

- 8 pocket Mueller Inserter

- In-line mailing (inkjet [Domino and Prism], and paper labels) I was never titled as a small machine operator, but some of the machines and equipment that I learned to run and filled in for when needed include;

- Off-line mailing (ink jet [Video Jet] and paper labels)

- Small table-fed Folder

- Pockets on Heidelberg and Mueller Perfect Binders

- Cutters (never trained on changing knife)

- Harris Saddle Stitcher

- Heidelberg Die Cutter

- Windmill Die Cutter

- Scoring table

- Plate making and bending for press

- I also learned to fill ink, put on plates and started setting color on Tensor Press
