Led by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, the GBD quantifies the comparative magnitude of health loss to diseases, injuries, and risk factors by

With more than 3,000 GBD collaborators from over 138 countries participating in the most recent update. GBD has generated substantial scientific, policy, and even general public interest across high-, middle-. and low-income countries.
