PROJECT WORK

Project Title: Enhance the properties of Al6061-T6 by reinforcing with Silicon carbide and Zirconium Dioxide. Work Done:

1) Calculate the weight percentage of powders for 3 samples according to ASTM standards. 2) Made 3 specimens of different compositions by using powder metallurgy. 3) Calculate BHN, RHN and abrasive wear resistance rate. Results Achieved:

1) Successfully completed the project.

2) Learnt about the Metal Matrix Nano Composites.
